You know where I see the law suit, GM being able to sell stage kits and retain the warrenty but not letting other vendors/companies sell stage kits and retain the warrenty.
the gm kits produce less psi boost. Anything that produces more they can say will hurt the car and therefore will not be covered under warranty.

why was this thread dragged back up?
they are covered. quick ******* bitching.
I have it in writing on my GM stage 2 install reciept. and i also called GM canada and they called me back a week later after "researching it" to tell me they are covered under 3yr 60k vehicle warranty.

and no im not proving it because this thread is a bunch of "sky is falling" bullshit that should have been left dead.

LET IT GO.

.... Just go all aftermarket and be done with it... Its nly going to void the warranty on your enginge and There arent too many things tha go wrong in the engine itsself that aren't due to aggressive driving. The warranty will cover the rest of your car though.... so its all good. if you want to mod your car and drive aggressively then expect to pay the price....

Please refrain from further posting on this subject. Read it, understand it, and be done with it.
If you want to cut corners or go complete aftermarket don't look for approval from anyone just do it and owe up to your decision.

I still got denied because "Someone heard the car was at the track," and "you are supposed to buy the car and look cool driving it, not get on it." They blamed my driving and my mods, and I screamed that the only thing on the car that can't be bought through the GM book is my intake and clutch, and neither of which (and they agreed) could cause my headgasket to blow. GM ******* sucks, I'm getting ready to deploy real soon, the car needed to be fixed before I leave for 4-6 months, so I took matters into my own hands to fix my own car! Plus, the dealership probably would have scratched my car to holy hell again and fried my electrical system under the hood again if they fixed! Oh, and don't forget the first engine that was in the car broke on my way to work at 30 mph in 4th or 5th gear, so since the car has a problem child history they don't want to deal with it. There you have folks. The straight honest truth.
They heard it was at the track is heresay and wouldn't stand up in court. Is cometic an aftermarket headgasket?

this thread needs to die please.
Its a stupid argument about bad dealerships, warranty denials for problems OTHER than stage 2......its been beat to hell.

Go to your dealership. talk to them about it.

if they are ********. dont get stage 2 through them.

my dealership was so shocked that i questioned stage 2 being under warranty that they EXTENDED it to 5 years just to allay my fears.

"bitch"?

Classy.

take your 9 posts somewhere else if your just gonna be a mouthy little *****

No one says you have to post. The thread is dead every possible option has been explored and we've come to the conclusion contained in the thread. No one likes e-thugs so unless you can back up that "bitch" in person dont' post it.
