Good catch I meant 5862... I read his post and as I was typing I must have regurgitated the wrong number. LOL

the 6262 has a smaller wheel than the one he linked.

Stoich is 14.7 for gas, I am at 9.8 stoich for E85 in my tune. My afr gauge at idle, cruise, and low rpm acceleration reads 14.2-14.7 on my wideband (even with E as lamda is the same on the afr gauge controller).

Sounds like a boost leak, boost controller, or a tune.

I make 338 whp at 15 psi and over 400 at 22 psi. With my boost leak I was only seeing 10psi and the car felt horrible. Mine was in my sheetmetal intake. Got it welded up by a race car builder with beefier welds. Good to go.
Yeah I know my idle is jacked and he won't change it. He thinks its my o2 sensor which I ain't. I don't know how I could have a boost leak. I have every pipe in the couple least 2 inches and the t bolt clamps as tight as the go.

I drop the car off for a tune on Thursday. Gonna see what just the BRFPS will let me set my MBC to. I think I should be able to have it dyno tuned on Saturday.

So, I have a few questions:

I picked up myself a rebuilt Saab 9-3 Turbo lastnight, With a manifold. Now, I need to know what else I need, I have a buddy of mine building my charge pipes, hot and cold, And I picked up myself a new Intercooler as well, I also have all of the oil lines and such.

My car is currently Supercharged, Do I need to retune my car once I swap everything over? My buddies tell me I don't have to (One has a turbo Cavalier pushing 400HP that he built) and the other is a GM mechanic.

Just want to shed some insight!

Kris

psssht no, you dont need a tune. Once you get everything installed you just need to reset the computer by opening up on the highway to WOT. You car computer will then reset to the new calibration.

Is there any specific location for oil return bung to be welded? Or just the front of the pan so the return line can reach

I have read through this document before. I haven't pulled the pan off yet so the picture was unclear. Above the plug sounds good thanks

It's a pita for sure. Dual and single passes suck. Best bet is laying down a bead on max cleaning where you want the weld to go, grind the surface off, then Tri to do it normally.
