I didn't have my vac lines hooked up right and my injector harness kept coming unplugged on cyl 1 so I had to get a new one

Well that's not even the worst part!
Ppl familiar with the scanner will laugh at this:
Just the evening before I added cyl1-4 misfires to GE scanner. Didn't really have room anywhere so I threw them in on my spark chart. Didn't realize that cyl1 misfire and KR were the same color so....
Injector comes unplugged and in my eyes (forgetting I added misfires) freaking kr taking off like a rocket!!
I literally think my heart skipped a beat lol

phil is running one (philzoot on rlf)
due to some wiring shorts and whatnot we haven;t really had a chance to really tune the car yet. but initial feeling at 20psi and a 10.0 afr seems like the motor likes it. Definitely a nicer piece, but time shall tell

ran my car at @420-440whp for 40k miles with out a hiccup daily driven and the last year it was 160 mile a day round trip for work. never thought twice about it. ask john how I drove that car lol. infe's car was sitting over 500whp for over a year and motor still looked great when we pulled it out for the built block (going for 650+whp)

Ok well I suppose I can always buy pistons and rods later down the road if I want, I'm just trying to be safe as possible and not have any major problems. Well I suppose this will save me some money then for now, lol. so no return fuel system or no need to build motor as of now for going to about 425. and I do trust my tuner he is very good, though he hasn't done any lsj-turbo's yet but I have complete faith in him, hes one of the best in central florida area.

You could get a block and sleeves to start building on incase something does happen

Messed around with my buddy's gsxr over the weekend. We raced 6 or 7 times. Same outcome every time. I was very happy to say the least lol

I am going to be swapping my turbo kit from my base model onto my lsj this winter and need to get an intake manifold. what is the best route for that? and should I keep the water/air intercooler or get an air/air intercooler? will be getting a gen 3 block from zzp and probably start out at 28 psi and go from there

Honestly, it's hard to beat the modified Saab manifold for the price.
The one I'm doing will likely not be a production piece, at least not for a long while. And it's all theory anyway. The dyno will tell all.

Let me know when you do make one. I'll throw down on one after you flow it.

Agreed, the Saab is a hard one to beat for the price and it has been proven to work well. I would say go air to air, but since you already have the full setup, maybe just rock it air to water and see how it does. Also, depending on when you go to Canada, if I have the other car running I may just come with you We will see.

Yeah I'm planning on going the 26th now. Do you have a passport though? And the saab intake mani will put the throttle body in almost the same spot as the 2.2/2.4 manifold correct?
