Official TVS Thread!!!
At what point with E85 and a TVS does the stock fuel system need to be upgraded? if So what should be upgraded? (06 IRL) Also What pulley should be used when shooting for 325whp with full supporting mods?
If you are shooting for 325whp, a 2.9 pulley, 80# injectors and a stock pump will do the trick on E85. You will start to max the 80's on the stock fuel system if you push farther than that, but a BRFPS or RSFS will cure that.
He will be really close to the limitations of the fuel system if he revs that 2.9 out on e85
Better to just take the hit on torque and just run a aftermarket 3.15" pulley (provided harrop tvs pulley has had tendencies to oval the bolt holes when in use)

Riding near the limitation of the fuel system shouldn't scare anyone, I pushed right at 100% IDC on the 2.9 and 80's at 7500 rpms on my car and my friends car that bought my TVS for a while with commanded fueling up top. They are cheap injectors, but they aren't terrible quality, and can perform just fine when being pushed a bit. With that being said, I didn't feel comfortable running them on the 2.9 with the ported head on stock fuel system, but I had new injectors already anyways.
^^^ I'll agree with that. Can't be to afraid to push it a little.
Our car has been fine for over a year on the 2.9, 80's, e85 revving to 75k seeing over 100% idc
Would I wanna do it forever, nope. Either cap your rev limit or get a Brfps

I am considering getting a TVS. I have no access to e85 and don't have a desire to run meth. That being said is it even worth it money/hp wise to get a TVS ?? Worth it if I were to upgrade cams and port the head?? I have full bolt ons and cooling mods... Just interested in hearing peoples thoughts.
Haven't read much on meth yet. Is it hard to set up and use? Getting option b, duel pass and a heat exchanger this weekend. Might do meth next pay, not sure yet. Don't have access to e85 in my area.

Well I ran meth injection for 4 years with my M62 and TVS. It does work really well if you don't have access to E85. The problem I did was I got a little greedy with it spraying larger amounts. Last year the line pulled off the pick up line of my meth and took my motor down. But I was spraying so much that the car relied on it. So if you choose to spray meth, just done tune it so the car relies on it and you can catch it if you ever have an issue.

There's 2 ways you can go with meth. Either run it small enough that you have time to **** down f it fails, or run it so heavy that the car will jut fall over if it fails. As if your fuel pump went out.
