I'll take a bunch of pictures when I do this, I document almost anything I do, so yeah.

Okay, so the idler uses the stock bolt, cool.

Thank you guys. Since I am a GM Employee I have access to all of the service manuals online and today I looked up the harness and injector pin-outs for the Cavalier and you seem to be spot on. I think when I actually find some injectors I will order the harness and report back.

I'm also unsure of what to do about the MAP sensor, but I think I remember reading here I'll have to rewire it and get a new connector.

I am also unsure of those 2 hoses on the supercharger.

Last night I printed out some detailed images of the intake and supercharger setup in the GM Parts Catalog so when I get some time later tonight I think I'll upload them for you guys. I can also get you some of the bolt lengths and pitches, etc.

Does this apply to others reading this as well ??

I read this yesterday. Does the Cavalier harness work with the Bosch injectors?

Thank you guys. This is a cool place to hang out! I can't wait until I'm supercharged.

Question. Has anyone here powdercoated a supercharger? I think for the price of a used supercharger I'm going to try it!

you don't need to powdercoat it really if you wanna save money.

all you have to do is look at the how to thread and do the same and your sc will look tight. mine came out good.

a couple members have, and they look really nice, but most members just use a high temp paint, and it usually looks really good as well

Thank you for your suggestions. I was going to powdercoat my valve cover and I might as well do the supercharger as well. I want it to look pretty under the hood, lol.

One more thing. I'm getting the handle on what used parts should go for, but I'm not sure on the actual intake manifold itself. How much should I pay for a used intake manifold?

less than the supercharger. if its stock...maybe $100-$200, if its a dual pass, throw in an extra $50-75. Its hard for me to say though since i bought everything at once from the same guy

I think my 3 x 130mm and 2 x 110mm bolts should have arrived yesterday.

I'm back at college for 3 months, so I'm not sure. Haha.

Used.

So, I'm getting closer to having all the parts, I think really all that's left is the alternator bracket.

Anyone have a part number (or one to sell me)?
