so how many head bolts is there? i thought you said 14 on the other page but in my box of arp studs i only got 10....

Yeah Tom I'd say you bent some valve holy **** never seen them that bad. O you got a dent also on the right side of the car.

 

there are 14 that are 15mm that go inside under where the cams sit, then there are 4 star head bolts on the passenger side, 2 are inside under the chain guides and 2 are near the engine mount....
REM TO TAKE THEM OFF IN THE RIGHT ORDER OR YOU COULD WARP YOUR HEAD!!!!!!

THanks lol...its been there a while, im also missing the side cap for the spoiler on that side...so whenever i take pics of the car right now i take them on the other side

picking up head parts tomorrow, waiting on head bolts...then i should be good to go

update, going to get the head shaved tomorrow, waiting on the hex bolts, and a head gasket, then reinstall and call it good lol

well, steve came over (yelloweye) and we put the car back together yest
made sure everything was happy and such installing and then fired her up today (after making sure the fuel pump relay was put back in the right spot that was an adventure unto itself) and she starts

it idles like **** but it starts haha
we tried taking it around the block and i got engine power reduced (no flashing check engine which is good lol)
put it back in the driveway and are leaving the battery unplugged for a while to see if it fixes the codes it was throughing (was having a problem with the map/maf correlation and also this causes a random misfire)
so i called vince to see if we can work it out lol, but hoping it will at least run after i reset the battery for 30 min or so

not running it till vince is here again...it runs like ****
bounces from 500rpm-1500rpm unless you hold the throttle, then it throws a code for maf/map correlation (p0068) and then misfires, then engine power reduced....

OMG I miss that sound so bad my stage 2 cams

You will see the idle around a grand or so once tuned but the idle will be bouncy all the time just not that bad.

 

lol, ya...it wont hold an idle and then throws map/maf correlation codes
