it sounds like it shouldnt be too bad, as long as i hold the chain in place and make sure i note where it all goes it should be fairly easy (buddy was also saying its almost hard to knock it out as long as you dont turn the engine over at all lol)

btw, i wont have to drain my oil for this will i?

No, your oil wil all be in your oil pan. Just get zip ties and wrap them around the cam gear and chain and mark the link where it meets the intake, and exhaust dial point. Fairly easy, but if it slips out a little don't even try to do it the short way. Take your motor mount off and timing cover. Oil will come out there not a lot though and retime it the long way.

so zip tie the cam gear to the chain before taking the stock cams off and mark where the cam meets the gear and i should be good???
and wear gloves and dont let anythign in there...lol

yeah thats what I did when I put them in. Taking them out was a little different haha chain jumped the gear and went out of time. I was pissed

Im so jelious of all these guys doing these mods to make there car a beast. Ive done everything I can cosmetic wise...but I don't know anything about doin **** under the hood or if its even worth it (me being an automaitic 2.4). Is it?

Well since your a 2.4L You'd have to get custom cams because I don't know any company making anything for the LE5 motor. In my opinion the auto tranny is junk I have it and hate it. That's why I'm going the SS/SC route.
