ok, perfect so if i take it of(again smh) i should be able to see any scoring though the outlet on the rotors and wiggle them to see if i have any play...how ever, they looked perfect, like not even the coating even had any wear when i put it on, cant say if i did or didnt have any play...might pull it soon any way just too look, i could do all the work on the blower myself if i had to so not worried about that. just 10-20 bux for bearings, no biggie

dont be afraid of this happening, just be aware if you have a doubt about it, i would recommend to take it off just to be safe, and if you can afford send it out to get the bearings replaced...
What pulley were you on when you dynod? Running meth or e?

let me get this straight. i want to get the ottp stage 3 kit with the tuned pcm. is it not possible to tune the pcm they send you? cause i was planning on sending my old one back as a core to get some cash. 60# are alright and probably wouldnt see max capacity ever? or are 80#s worth it? that and which spark plugs should i get there iridium and theres copper. ive heard people have problems with one and the other works, but then other people have problems with that one and be fine with the other. did anyone else notice they dropped the price on that kit by 500 bucks on black friday? ill prob wait till next black friday to get it and hope they do that drop again

and i have searched and read the threads on the ottp stage 3

It is possible to tune the PCM they send you. They will send you a base tune for the setup. To get all the power out of that kit, you are going to want a custom tune.

60# injectors are okay if you only plan on running gasoline. If you plan on running E85, then you should get 80# injectors.

I prefer NGK copper plugs. Other people like iridium. I run Copper plugs for one year and then replace them. They are cheap so if I only get 10-12k miles on them, I don't care.

I don't think there is any gaurentee that the kit will go back on sale next black Friday. IIRC, Josh had one blower with some small damage that did not effect performance. He was able to discount that blower with the kit.

Yeah. There was a small corner of the inlet flange that got bent. Josh fixed it but could not sell it as new.

Yup that's the one I picked up. It was so minor and josh gave me a smokin deal on it. Not to mention repairing and repainting the tvs for free with an inhouse warranty.

wow really? i thought that was just a black friday thing. i talked to them and they said the price would go back up after that weekend. so it did. now its back at 2400 instead of 1999. so the tune they send on the pcm can be tweeked to make it custom then? 10-12k miles is fine with me for copper plugs. ha.

Yup you can get a custom tune after they send you your PCM. If its anything like the canned tune i got from them when I bought my stage 2 is its gonna be piiiiiig rich.

Im torn between a tvs and a zzp turbo swap kit. I know my ideal goal is 300-350 anywhere in between i would be happy. Im sure with my setup right now and a 2.9 pulley i could hit 300 on a tvs. An buying a tvs is a heck of a lot cheaper then turbo. Also i live in Wisconsin we have e 85 everywhere. Hell i got 2 e85 pumps in my city alone.

Just looking for some insight on how everyone is likeing the tvs.

my mods right now s3 heat exchanger dual pass end plate option b mid length header 3inch down pipe full 2.5 magnaflow exhaust 60lb injectors.

Well you are pretty much set up for a TVS and your power goals are 300-350whp. I say definitely do the tvs. Especially if you have E around.

Ya Blue one perk of wisconsin is we have a **** ton of corn and we produce alot of e85. Im just trying to see what setup is going to cost me less and still make over 300 wheel hosepower. 4k is a huge dent in my wallet for a turbo lol. i can deal with a used tvs for 1200 lot easier.

my only thing is the whole rotor problems and the socing on the housing. how many of u guys had to pull off ur tvs to fix them ? that scares me. but with every great thing comes a risk !

Ah I wouldn't let that scare you. Jrhdpaintball is the first TVS that I had ever head of that happening. And if it does, well buy some needle bearings and rebuild it haha. You've already spent the money on supporting mods for a supercharger. You will run 350whp easy on E. Especially with a damn good tuner like ebristol.
