GMPP clutch is a great bang for the buck when running a tvs.

softer or harder than stock? sometimes ive seen stronger clutches easier to push in...oddly. i would think it would alwasy require more force with something more durable. take the whole engine out to get at it?

Yep just a little stiffer than stock, which is nice cause the stock mashed potato feel always bugged me

And no I didnt take out the engine. I dropped the subframe and then dropped the trans. Follow the GM build book and youll be golden.

That could be your problem, cause its an 18mm!! :P just bustin ya

As I told bluelightning in PM, the build book is nice because it gives you all the tq specs and bolt sizes which helps so your not running back to the tool box over and over

Same as M62.

Mid 11s for safety and high 11s with a spot on tune.

Yep, just as EB said. My tune is set up to start at 11.5 AFR in the mid range and work its way to 11.8 or so by redline. Should be going to the dyno within a few months whenever it gets here to see how a few different tune setups work.

Oh and tomorrow or saturday is valve spring install day Huge thanks to Hawlyns for letting me borrow the tool!

With my current set up and tune I run 11.5 all the way though. Running something like an 11.8 on top is it like a you may or may not blow up your motor? This is my dd and I obviously want it to be safe but I want a spot on tune at the same time haha. Just a little torn on how aggressive to go.

11.8 is just fine. On E85 Ive ran as high as 12.5 or so but without a dyno its hard to tell if it made more power or not, but with some research Im thinking I would start losing power running it that lean on a blower setup like this. Typically most people wont go leaner than 11.8 on gas.
