has anyone had any problem with belt slipage on the tvs. vince is doin my tune and asked me if mine was. i guess my boost is fluxuating at high rpm's. any solutions? im still useing the stock belt.
on my 2nd WOT pull with the TVS, i saw a lot of boost fluttering and it ended up being the 2 head bolts to the left of cylinder #1 had stretched, letting the head lift off the block. the bolts are tq-to-yield and are not suitable for the motor past 250whp. keep an eye on your coolant, and your oil, to see if it is mixing with coolant at all. and do a comp test
the stage 2 belt will fit. it is really tight, but will fit. keep an eye on the other things in your engine bay, like your coolant. if you notice any leaking from anywhere, including the expansion tank, then pop off the valve cover and check the head bolts.

Sub...at some point I need to do more research to figure out with this mod when I add it, what set-up will be most reliable...I'm looking for a set-up that will get me 100K out of the motor of course if the motor is healthy when the mod is added.
Also, will it pass emissions and I presume one needs a little more oil for oil changes since the SC is bigger and needs more?
What was wrong? You still feel like the motor needs some upgrades to handle the TVS?
And another thing....LOL..... spark plugs....recomendations there...I am running one range colder now, will that work and do things change with the pulley swap just like on the M62 blower where dropping pulley upping boost means two range colder plugs ect...

emissions... you should be good if your tune is good. cat-less is another story
my own opinion is to at least upgrade the stock head bolts to head studs. other than that, you can push the stock pistons quite far. the rods are plenty strong, and the crank is forged from the factory. i don't feel any more upgrades are needed on my car unless i blow out a sleeve, but then again, that *should* not happen if your tune is good. knock is the enemy.
the TVS is sealed from Harrop just like the M62. they have their own oil, and per the manufacturer, they are good for the life of the unit.
