What kind of power are you hoping for when you are done with this build?

400 hp at the crank (332 whp) on pump gas with a 2.9" pulley.

Then like 375-380 whp with a 2.6" on race gas.

Then ~480 whp on race gas, 2.6" pulley + 100 shot

Fixed it for you.

I'm just playing man. Good luck though. That first start up always makes me nervous... you start doubting stuff... "Oh ****... did I torque ALL of the rod bolts? What if I forgot one? **** Me!"

My worry will be, **** did I make sure the internal shift linkage was lined up right!?!?! If we get it wrong, the car would run fine, but it would only have either 1st, 3rd, and 5th, or 2nd, 4th, and reverse

Indeed. You shall find out shortly.

You can check the Internal Shift Linkage before you put it in the car though.

What do you mean? Alignment for the gears? Do you mean the spiral gears (1st, 2nd, 3rd ect) or the little partial gears for the linkage?

Yeah, and no usable power below 3500 rpm. This is gonna be my daily driver (not very practical I know, but I'm crazy ), I want power for daily driving, and turbo certainly doesn't provide that. Plus, I like the thought of being able to title myself "Fastest stock blower LSJ in the country"

Naysaying has no place in my thread, so STFU!!! Jk, but seriously, there is no reason what so ever that I can't EASILY make my power goals with the rediculous cams, head work, and valvetrain I'm using. It will probably make peak power right at the rev limiter, and would want to make peak power more like 8300-8400 with a 2.9", and peak power around 7400-7500 with the 2.6". I think you don't want me to hit my goal because my car would have more power than your TVS, and mine will be running like 12-13 psi out of the stock blower jk

330 WHP on pump should make for some mid to high 12's should not be bad. What kind of cams are you going with? Lift/Duration/LSA.

Ok little guy, calm down

You shall see, and I will accept your apology when the time comes

.475" lift/224 @ .050"/110 LSA (will play with it a little with the cam gears). Thats with +1 mm valves, and ridiculous head work.

Hmm. no usable power under 3500RPM and turbo is old school thought my friend. 2871 Garrett turbo on an LSJ SS with bad tune, 12 PSI, and GMS2 tune with injectors out pulled my LSJ GMS2 3" pulley by 2.5 car lengths. plus he had to shift prior to 6200 RPM cause the injectors were maxed. car is just sick and boost is there in an instant.

when trying to crank up the boost a little he hit 20 PSI by accident. it was instant as well. I would not have believed it with out seeing it myself.

TVS is a good idea. but you can benefit from a good turbo and still have instant boost. I am still a fan of SC scream.

I know your not about TUrbo's but I didnt want you to just run your mouth about turbo lag when there is not any.
