Well, he does speak highly of you. That's the only reason I started listening to what you had to say on this forum. There are only a handful of you guys that I'll even bother reading your posts...

Look for somewhere between 230-240 on his dyno if it's a nice cold day...

he helped me a lot when i had my gxp, and various other things.

there is a few of us that know our **** about these engines. if you catch it at the right point, you can see one of us slip and let something fly. then again, thats rare when it happens

sorry i didn't call you on my lunch break, i got caught up playing ghost recon! do you think we'll need a lift for this? if not you can just come up to my house and we can install it in the garage. and then we'll both go up to jersey late friday night. after looking at diagrams and how-to's this install doesn't look that hard and i think we could have it done within the 2-3 hour range tops.

lol, that's what we did. Drove down Friday, met up w/ 1GMFanatic and SSDan for drinks that night and went in Saturday morning. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on 37. I think we ended up getting the room for $81. You can get a room at the Red Roof in for like $60 w/ AAA, but they're dirty and practically no one there speaks English. They're both a little over a mile from the shop...

A 2.7 w/ 60's and supporting mods put down 250 on Matt's dyno in about 35* weather. I would guess you'll prob hit about 255 on Matt's dyno, depending on temperature and whatnot...

Matt will tell you that his dyno is 13.5% lower than dynojet numbers. To figure that out I'll give you an example w/ my numbers:

258.4 * 1.135 = 293.284 or ~293whp

I'm sticking w/ the dyno #'s though, cause that's all that really matters to me. How much I gain on Matt's dyno. It'll be nice to hit the ~300whp benchmark, but I'm more concerned w/ hitting 272 on his w/ the M62. I'm not looking to go all out, however. I just want a DD that's fun on and off the track...

yea my goal is 300whp before spray. with that equation and your estimate of 255 on his dyno, that'll have me around the 290whp. i'd be happy with that. i should be at 20psi correct? after this is all said and done.

I have no idea, what are you at right now? Your boost won't change unless you add or take away a restriction. Tuning won't change boost levels...

well at the moment it spikes to 18psi, but i haven't added my supporting mods and my tune is kind of whacky because i didn't have a wideband. on cobalt-addiction it says with the stage 4 kit (basically what i'm running) it should be running 20psi.

Don't worry about what this or that site says. Just take it in to Matt, and he'll make it as fast as it possibly can be with the mods it has...within reason...

He keeps things safe so your car never blows up.

Just make sure you touch base w/ him beforehand so he knows your coming. And by touch base, I mean, schedule the Saturday w/ him and then call him a day or two beforehand to remind him. He gets very, very busy...

skymynx, please refer to post 325 and update...

It was a Mustang dyno. The numbers probably would have been higher if I had gone to Next Level Performance. Mustang vs Dynojet 224c. As it was the numbers were pretty good. Tuning right there at the dyno allowed us to get much higher torque numbers (going to keep trying and tuning to get 300+lbs. torque) and moderately better wheel horse power numbers. Some may raise the BS flag on this but, there were 4 other people that saw it happen and also REDFOCZ (Mike) took videos.

Bottom line:

254.7whp - 296.5tq.
