Official Dyno Thread.
because it just leaves room to grow. why by the 42's and have to buy bigger ones later. i have a head at the machine shop and have 10.5:1 pistons. and will probably put a smaller pulley on. thats why. plus i have a guy that tunes my car. i don't go to GM. they have one tune and that is it. i just went with what Rob the guy that tunes my car suggested for what i am wanting to do.
why? what is wrong with it?

It's not leaning it out that's the problem, it's all over the place. At one point you're below 10, then 1K rpm later you're above 12. That's not a very good tune.
The chart has a scale from 0-5 for smoothing it out. He has it set on it's maximum of 5, which means we don't see squat as far as peaks and troughs. I would like to see the chart w/ 0 scaling...

Worked on my tune this weekend and this is how we made out:
258/230 - Mustang dyno +13.5%(dynojet)=
293whp/261wtq
The car flows a good amount of air, about 293g/cyl.
It'll take me a while to get the sheet e-mailed to me from Matt, but I'll post it up when I do...
Also, please update my mods:
