This thread isn't very up to date. In the last couple weeks, there have been several 270-290 whp TVS Cobalts, and not to mention the 440 whp GT35R Cobalt

Wow! I had expected much better numbers from the HTVS with a 2.75 especially on a DynoJet... I was hoping to see this kind of numbers on a Mustang Dyno... Still a tough little Balt to beat tho!

Let's just put it this way. That dynojet puts down less than 260 w/ a 2.5" pulley pushing over 320g/cyl on the M62. Trust me, that car would make about the same #'s on Matt's dyno. That is the lowest reading dynojet I've ever seen...

on that dynpjet it made 253 whp on my 2.5 setup, trust me when i say that dyno reads low the car trapped 110 where as other members took 290 whp to achieve the same traps.

im sure on any other dynojet with your 2.5 m62 seteup you would have put down alot more than 253 very odd numbers espically on a dynojet

yeah probably closer to 290 whp but it doesn't matter to me i stayed with the same one to see my gains, i don't need a ego boosting dyno

people who use dyno's for making big numbers to inflate their already weak self esteem need to be shot.

it's true!

i have never used a dyno for making big numbers. i know what my car makes. what i post is usually lower. not that i care enough anyways.

use the dyno to work out issues with a car. back to back 80-124 mph passes on the street lead to issues.
