That's what I was trying to refer to when I said "quick connect fitting". I didn't know what they were called.

Can anybody explain what should be covering the nipple on the top of the brake fluid reservoir? In a picture of a new Master Cylinder with reservoir, it shows a hose covering the nipple behind the reservoir lid, and I've noticed lately that mine doesn't have anything sealing that hole.

I'm still investigating brake issues, wonder if it could be the cause

More of a this week than a today post, but I swapped out the LNF for an LDK long block from ZZP and a brand new clutch and flywheel. Feels great to have a car that doesn't make milkshakes anymore.

Nice! I'm wondering if/when it gets me. My car is in the bad motor date range....

Mine was December 2008 IIRC. Took 122,000 miles before it happened so I'm not sure how to chalk that one up yet. Will be taking it apart and figuring out what/where is broken,

Get a powerball or the likes, it will make polishing your wheels like you're trying to go much quicker and they're worth the 20 they charge.

Let me know if you find anything. I tried filling the water jacket with water but nothing leaked. Mine only leaked when it's warm.

I'll be sending the head and block off to be pressure tested.

You're welcome. Adding a power tool to polishing always speed the job up and makes the job turn out nicer.
