and i only had 150 miles on it now i have about 4000 and i have so many rock chips on my hood there is like 12 of them and some is bare metal exposed and that is from daily driving i think the paint is too cheap i washed the car and it scratched some paint off the door by using a brand new wash mit

I have some small chips on the hood, and the trunk lid... my dealer told me it was from little rocks and aren't going to do anything about it!

THey cannot warranty rock chips. That would be like warrantying scratches or a collision. That is not a materials failure. That is the end result of a rock colliding with your vehicle at a high rate of speed.

Got little over 19,000Km and my hood is almost perfect, maybe 1-2 little spot but it's on the very edge of the hood and at the same place. And the car just finished her winter #2

I'm almost happy with the paint quality, because on the bottom of 1 door there is a circle of something in the paint, like if someone throw a baseball ball on the door when the paint wasn't dry...

I had a purple blob "in the paint" on my trunk lid. Got repainted under warranty.
Now I see the edge of my driver's door near the front / bottom edge where the SS badge is (but right on the edge of the door) paint is coming off like nobody's business.

I know I've got to pay for the chipping, but I'm not that rich......
