Closed Friday but we had one cancel today. Give us a call at (425)251-0329 and you're in.

Sound files are up.

We did an install today on a 2.2L Pontiac Pursuit.

I'm hoping this will work. Both videos were made using the owners laptop with integrated cmaera and microphone. You need Quicktime to open.

Before install: stock manifold, stock down-pipe, Clear Image Auto 2 1/2" exhaust system and TriFecta tuning.

http://www.clearimageautomotive.com/...s/exhaust1.mov

After install: added 1 5/8" 4-into 1 mid-length header and 2 1/2" hi-flow converter down-pipe.

http://www.clearimageautomotive.com/...s/exhaust3.mov

I am doing my best to get our exhaust systems priced and posted.

You have until July 31st to make payment in full.

Now, let me get this straight... You made a deposit to ZZP, had a death in the family and could not make final payment on the specified date and ZZP would not accept your payment? Or refund your deposit? That's mighty understanding of them! I'm sorry to hear of your family loss. Call us tomorrow and we'll cover the ZZP deposit. It's the right thing to do and they should have done it themselves.

Now that is customer satisfaction, i dont have any hard feelings about zzp or their products and i understand it is business and im not gonna go bad mouthing them but i agree with you on that i would have liked just a short extension on paying but hey their loss is your gain and i really do appricate everything you are offering to me and thank you for your condolences...but just outta curiosity, isnt today July 1st?

We simply refuse to follow suit of what seems to be the norm. "Business is business" is BS. People are what's important. I started Clear Image as a hobby for love of hot rodding, my car, friends, etc. The hobby turned into a full-time business. These days it gets easier and easier to just jump on the bandwagon and put money at the top of the list. In the end we would become just another internet parts store. Not for us. Beth will agree, and in fact, she always talks about the importance of "developing customer relationships and making business friends". Not exactly her quote but close. Anyways, we have our policies and practices too, but there are always exceptions to consider and your situation deserved some understanding... We're happy to have your business.

Also, I meant to say July 31st. I edited above.

I'm done for the evening.
Talk to you tomorrow if I happen to answer the phone.

Have a good night.

I'll definitely second Clear Auto and Dan & Beth being wonderful to work with. When Dan called to confirm my order, he spent like 25 minutes talking to me about exhausts soo that I could fully understand what I needed to do. Now thats customer service!

Thanks all. It's a shame doing the right thing has become such an exception. We appreciate all your comments and support. Beth and I read the forum together this morning and it made our day.

To answer the questions baout the 1st O2 bungt, yes, it is welded into the header collector. The 2nd will be in the down-pipe behind the converter and the extra, for wideband, will be as close to the collector as possible.

I have pricing for our exhaust systems done and will be posting shortly.
Look for a new thread titled:
"Clear Image Exhaust sale"

Wooo Hoooo! Finally some more people on here will have some clear image headers. I don't know how the 4-1 will compare to the Tri-Y, but you guys should be more than happy with the build quality.

And yes, Beth is the bomb. Even though she might kill me, I will say that as cool as she is to talk to... she looks even better.

Dan, as soon as you guys design something else I can use (pretty much anything I don't already have), I'm picking it up.
