They give you plenty of wire on the aftermarket harness

Got my harness made, waiting on HPT from a local friend...

on a side note what can cause a un-clean shut off? I turn the key off and and it still trys to run for a few seconds

Are you looking for power or reliability? On E those are conservative numbers especially mid range, at peak torque I would cram in all the timing I could

My understand of E was that u could run as much timing as u wanted(26ish i think is what most stop at) and it wouldnt stress the motor. This may be wrong but its aomething I had read somewhere on here.

Its not just preignition u need to worrie about. E85 has enough octain to make it extremely hard to preignight. By running a ton of timing (34*) up top like i did u run the risk of beating the **** out of the bottom end. Cuz with that much timing there is a point were the piston is trying to shove the rod out the bottom of the engin cuz its still brealy in the compression stroke.
I made a ton of power. But i and most members will agree that its not worth the added stress for the power u gain running it that hard.
