Damn. Never answered the question, haha.

I just didn't understand the adjustable cam gears at the time.

They installed the adjustable gears in case the cams were not ground to the correct degree. Once they checked everything with a dial indicator they found they were right on the money and left them at zero. Which is one of zzp's big selling points; that the cams come ready to drop in with stock gears.
But comp did too SOOO....

i thought there was a connection between the two, just didn't wanna spread more false info like i'm so prone to doing on here haha.

mrb., are you ever gonna let us in on your setup? just curious because the amount of knowledge you have just leads me to believe you have a beastly ass blown lsj.

I didn't know this at the time I purchased mine.

Got my cams for $550 on a black friday sale.

If I did know COMP had them degreed as well, I would have purchased directly from them since they are their cams anyways, lol.

That happens on here. People start calling them ZZP cams, and think they are ZZP "brand" cams, but in fact are genuine COMP cams that ZZP had COMP grind.

Make sense?

easy to see how it happens haha. idk if zzp has their own machines or not because most parts they sell are made by other people, like their exhaust which is made by flowmaster or w/e for instance

Yeah, def easy to have happen.

Nah, they are made by COMP. Come with the COMP Cam's spec card and all.

I even sent in the warranty card directly to COMP.

What zzp sells are genuine comp cams ground to zzp's specs.
Comp does not have an lsj cam line, my guess is not enough volume for them to bother. If you call them though, they will work with you on a specific grind for your setup.

If any of you are serious about it shoot me a pm.

It was remotely cam related... Regardless, we stopped.
Honest question what else would you like to know that hasn't been talked about already?
