IonNinja Build
so I pulled the pan off tonight and the rod bearings in #3 were completely gone, top and bottom
had tons of broken pieces of crap at the bottom of my oil pan
tried new bearings and its a no go, there's still slop between the crank and rod so either the crank and/or rod is out of spec

Just placed an order for the following:
ZZP 82# valve springs
ARP head studs
Viton valve seals
4 injector clips
LSJ radiator hose
Baffled catch can
Cobra OEM reservoir
OEM crank bearings
OEM timing chain tensioner
Already received my KY Stage 3 clutch
Should I get new piston rings and a new head gasket? They both have about 3200 miles on them.
I also may have sourced another block instead of trying to locate a good crank for cheap

Since I'm getting a new block (should be getting delivered tomorrow) I decided to play it safe and get new rings. Also bought a new headgasket and main bearing bolts.
Only thing left to get is a new rod but apparently Eagle needs some info off the rod to order a new one so I've gotta tear down the old block first.
Almost there!

Atleast the fun part begins now, just gotta grab some bolts to put this block on my engine stand and I can get to work.
I've read out the top is the quickest and easiest way to go if you don't have a lift or some sketchy way to lift your car high off the ground
I'm expecting the install to be a PITA though regardless lol. I'll worry about that though once I get everything swapped over to my new block

plus at the time I just wanted to get the damn thing out as quickly as possible...obviously that didn't work out like I wanted it to lol
Yesterday I lifted up the engine with my cherry picker so I could throw it on the stand

Removed the clutch and flywheel (not pictured)

Finally got it on the stand

Now it's time to start breakin this bitch down

Jerry... if I remember, you said you're getting a new block. If that is still the case, does it come with ports for an oil cooler? Such as the fittings that go right beside the oil filter housing? If you would need an oil cooler assembly, I have one for you.
