Just placed an order for the following:

ZZP 82# valve springs
ARP head studs
Viton valve seals
4 injector clips
LSJ radiator hose
Baffled catch can
Cobra OEM reservoir
OEM crank bearings
OEM timing chain tensioner

Already received my KY Stage 3 clutch

Should I get new piston rings and a new head gasket? They both have about 3200 miles on them.

I also may have sourced another block instead of trying to locate a good crank for cheap

Since I'm getting a new block (should be getting delivered tomorrow) I decided to play it safe and get new rings. Also bought a new headgasket and main bearing bolts.

Only thing left to get is a new rod but apparently Eagle needs some info off the rod to order a new one so I've gotta tear down the old block first.

Almost there!

That would feel amazing right about now

Atleast the fun part begins now, just gotta grab some bolts to put this block on my engine stand and I can get to work.

I've read out the top is the quickest and easiest way to go if you don't have a lift or some sketchy way to lift your car high off the ground

I'm expecting the install to be a PITA though regardless lol. I'll worry about that though once I get everything swapped over to my new block

I second that. I know of at least 4 people that have done this before.

Jerry... if I remember, you said you're getting a new block. If that is still the case, does it come with ports for an oil cooler? Such as the fittings that go right beside the oil filter housing? If you would need an oil cooler assembly, I have one for you.
