The car club I'm in is meeting at the world of wheels saturday;
but I went last year with them, and well, you seen it once, you don't ever need to go again...
I figure the next time I'll go is when one of my nephew's either wants to go, or can appreciate it...

DiabeticKripple, Mine turned out awesome. I still havn't been able to get day pics yet though (Sun isn't out late enough). No word on how it holds up as my car has been parked a couple weeks, but I tried rubbiing it off and couldnt (I rubbed my stock paint off, it was that bad).

I still need to fix my SS symbol too. That's what I'll do this weekend hopefully along with getting my clutch in. Long weekend ftw!

Also, thedude411, the wind does suck but way to bail . Are you permanantly there now?

did you just sand them before painting them? also did you paint in the cold? i want to get it done so i can get it off my mind but i dont know if the paint will stick in the cold. i might be able to spray in my house though. also for the switches in the door bezels, on my drivers side, none of them light up. i looked at them and the filaments are all fine. i also need a new switch for my mirrors as i broke a piece of it off and i dont know where it is

Thread shows everything, all I did was scuff/sand a bit with 400 grit. Taped off the bezels (Easiest way was to cover the entire handle with tape on top and use an exacto knife to follow the lines. Very easy.

I painted in my parents garage, it was probably ten to fifteen degrees in there. Stuck fine, the paint doesn't smell too bad if you have to do it in the house. That's weird about the switches, if none light up sounds like a bad fuse/ground. Did you check power to the wires?

hey man that was serious. i liked it. as for my switches, the pw's lit up until i took it out yesterday to check the other ones, now it doesn't light up either.

 

dunno. but im pretty sure im going to sell my condo in lethbridge this summer. its not looking like im getting a job down there so ive started looking in calgary and edmonton .
