the compression test i did before i even started on it and mark giving me the ok to do it absolved me from any implications damage that may or may not occur.
in short. when he got the car from stu, it was hurt to begin with. im also pretty sure mark was laughing on the phone with me when he did it, and openly admitted to be stupid when he did it.

Blues car wasn't that aggressive...... At all . Many times I've said this along with tons of proof when I let him go 0 detonation and Afr was perfect. Ill say it again as well if you can't comprehende ? 100k miles+ this means borrowed time which I took into account. Which was why 22* was where he ended up top. His revving to 7400 doesn't help of he did either.

im pretty sure term is the one who told me YOU did a 30psi tune. among other things. but thats not the point right now. he said nothing abut who's car it was. nor did i.
marks car had zero knock, unless HE turned the boost up. which was not what i had tuned it for. it was actually based around my personal winter tune to keep it living for a while. we both knew it was about dead.

Lol.. It was Vadhyx and his tune wasn't 30psi..elevation of 5800 ft .. What happens with wgdc that high. You need to command more.. To get the actual boost needed. I have logs if need be!
I love how this thread started out that the tune was completely unsafe, and now that things have come to light its not longer about the tune being unsafe but instead now its about if James is at fault for providing a aggressive tune to a young kid that said he would take proper care of the engine and not beat it to hell.
James didnt send this kid off with a ticking time bomb, the kid lied to get what he wanted, made promises he had no plan to keep and turned around and had Mr B post this stupid ass thread pointing the finger at James but at what point do we ask this kid to own up to his mistakes? Should James be at fault if I get in an accident while data logging? According to yall since James would be providing me a service by reading my logs and tuning my car he should have known id be racing up and down the street to get the logs then that must be his fault as well?

IT is your responsibilty as the tuner to know what the car can do safetly. Hell I've had other cars professionally tuned by guys that have been doing this a lot longer than you or me combined, people highly respected in their fields (that also do more than just one platform i.e enzo racing for my fd3s rx). I give them car and money, they give me back a tuned car. They don't ask me what boost I want to run. They just ask whats done to the motor, what turbo (or nitrous shot) what fuel system, and then they do their thing. They tune it to where they feel is a safe area, especially on a daily driven car. So yes I do believe it's the tuner's responsibility to decide what the car will ultimately do with what they feel is safe for the owner and how the car will be driven.
It is funny how every tuner but one agrees that it is the tuner's responsibility to make sure the tune is safe.
Here is what everyone needs to understand.
An aggressive tune CAN be a safe tune. A GOOD tune will be able to take any beating the owner can throw at it. A GOOD tune is aggressive when conditions are perfect and safe when things are not.
Any tune that has the potential to exceed the mechanical limits of the vehicle is NOT an AGGRESSIVE TUNE. IT IS A BAD TUNE!!!!!

Skill set aside, James's biggest problems is that he gives his customers what they want and he does not turn down a bad project at a chance to make a quick buck.
There is a lot more I could say but if he stopped doing those two things there would not be as many threads like this out there....

are you sure he didn't put in some lower octane gas??? or have some sort of fueling problem. cuz idk why ANY tuner would send somebody away with a **** tune. For some, its their jobs and form of income. There is no reason for them to give **** tunes when they know it would fall back on them. To me, something else is wrong here that probably isn't tune related
Im gonna go with the fact that he probably drove the **** outta this car. Not that i blame him. Thats why we have SS's and modify the cars....to drive aggressively. But if i had to guess...something non-tune related happened.Like shitty fuel was put in and still went WOT. I guess im not even sure what it would take for bearings to look like that. Wouldnt that be more of a dirty install? Lack of knowledge on my part i guess.

Maybe I am misunderstanding him and he was just confirming that bad fuel was one of the things he speculated on but to me this reads that he has knowledge that it was bad gas. If I am putting words in your mouth I appologize.
So at what point did FrossB know that bad gas was the cause of it blowing? Maybe its on another formu that the both frequent or from texts they exchanged but as far as I was able to tell it was never mentioned in this thread. Now I am not trying to call FrossB out I just wanted both sides to realize that the thread would have ended ages ago if someone had proof that bad gas was the cause.

Im surprised this thread hasnt been locked yet, If it was fitment over form this **** would of been locked 15 pages ago, but instead its to bash james so let the **** fly i guess. I have a fully built car and it isnt blown, but when and if it does guess what it happens, i have been pushing the limits, and another question, who knows how old this kid is, some people act like them know him personally, if that is the case have him come in here and say his mind stop sucking his **** and doing it for him. It doesnt matter if your a good tuner, a bad tuner, 16 or 60, you wanted to play and push the limits, so your luck ran out, I work at a couple performance shops and on the wall it says we are not responsible for your car after it leaves the dyno and the tuner. You know why because there are to many variables to point fingers you want to play then pay, why cant any of you fucktards understand that.
Frossb texted me asking what the deal is. I said the kid did this and that and had proof via text so I texted him screen prints of it all lol.
