THIS IS JUST AN INTEREST POST! NOTHING IS SET IN STONE. NO DATES HAVE BEEN CHOSEN AS OF YET...this is merely something to see how many people are interested in participating

We are looking to see how many people would be interested in a DYNO/ TUNE / MOD DAY
at our company location in Deer Park , NY

This has been in discussion several times between myself, kenny and several locals who thought it might be a good idea to open the shop one weekend to tune cars and then do dyno runs for the day followed by a meet at Deer Park Ave (Long islands street racing and car meet up Hot spot)

We are looking into pricing for Dyno runs at Mustang Magic (dynojet facility) located right around the corner from our shop and also to have a mod meet where everyone can help one another out along with a BBQ or a dinner meet before we head out to DPA (at approx. 10 pm)

Ruby Tuesdays. There is a Rubys right around the block near Kohls that i know can accomodate a large group . We hold our meets there for the probes. If we go at a decent time I can call ahead and have then clear a large section for us.

Dates: As Paul had mentioned we will be doing this no earlier then second week of september. Ideally i would like to maybe rent the place out either Sept 30 or October 14) i wont be around oct 7...defensive driving class...lol

also, plan on bringing a clean vehicle. i would like to get some event pictures when this pops off. so make sure she is nice and shiny before you get here. worse comes to worse...there is a drive through brushless car wash off of DPA.

Im going to try my hardest to accomodate as many people as possible to treat this as a meet. Swap parts, buy parts, install, tune, dyno...etc. i know paul has been an absolute great help to the locals.

Before this all goes on, everyone will get a set of rules and itinerary of events for the day. This is the only way i will run things because i dont like a lot of chaos and want things to run as smooth as possible.

hahah..... gotta plan it good.... I wish The LI drag strip was still open... do a little test and tune drags... but oh well... damn old people wantin it shut down... as I said I can be free any day.... just waitin for people to post up some dates.

I'm pretty sure it supports the ls2, just needs to get the license... they have the newest version of the software... I actually have a few GTO owners with a program they want flashed... I'm gonna talk to Kenny tonight about that... maybe have a seperate day for that... or mold in to one big GM horse power fest.

yea there are a few shops in Jersey whom are experienced with the LS2's but are very pricey...if he has a decent amount of experience with them, then I'd give him the business

Would we be able tp purchase CA parts at this event? It would be a good incentive for more CSS members to go if they could make some purchases that don't involve shipping.

Also, do we have to dyno/tune to participate? I have a 2.2 which isn't tunable yet and with only my exhaust mod I don't have much of a reason to dyno. I'd like to stop by though if even just to hang out and meet some fellow owners.

I will be coming up for the event. If I were to buy the ZZP Interchangeable Pulley System w/ the 2.6" pulley and 60lb. Siemens Injectors from you guys, would you be able to install and then custom tune the same day for my car? Also with that setup, would I also need the ZZP tensioner and a new injector harness?

yes you would either need a new tensioner or a larger tensioner pulley. Yes you will need a new injector harness. GL on getting them to install it the day of the dyno, they will probably be too busy...

OK here's the deal.... tomorrow night me donna and Kenny are meeting up to discuss this further and try and nail down a date and pricing... so I should have some definitive info to post up this weekend.... stay tuned

i also talked to mustang magic today. luckily they are willing to take a small down payment to lock a date and not the entire amount at once...so i may be nice and lay out the downpayment so we can hold a date. he also said he has some tunes he is doing on saturdays on the mustangs who use his shop and that might interfere but we will work around those dates. like paul said we will be discussing tomorrow whats going on since its now a helluva lot less hectic and i can also make it out there early - 5 ish. plus i have no real desire to hang out at the house with sheet rock falling down all around me. LOL.

HAHAHA... sheet rock sucks.... but I should be there a little after 5 myself.... so we can get cracking on it
