when is the 2.2/2.4 xtc intake schedualed to be released?...is the pricing going to be the same?, any chance for a GP? ;)

anything at all...im wanting to get one, and if this one was going to be avaliable i would prefure this to the others

the main problem is we do not have a local car with a 2.2L / 2.4L to test design the intake on . Im sure we could do it we just need a car . Everyone around us has a 2.0L SS. We are just looking for the right local person who could coem by let us rip the car apart , try a few designs and put it all back together . Then assemble a kit and have them coem back to test fit it and try it out . Its a big hassle to use out of state people . We just need someone local to do it on . I might have a person we just need to try and make time . Ill only do it if we can make it better than all the others like our existing 2.0L intake. Has the most positives and options out of any other offered and still has all the performance and appearance for both show and racing .

kenny..im interesting..i kinda put a custom intake in my car..cuz u guys didnt have one out yet...i used the stock air box..at the top of the engine cuz i didnt want to cut stuff or buy a 300 dollar injen that im sure your intake wud put out more. im down to take apart my car and have you make something...let me know. u know im usually at your shop almost every friday. get back to me on here..or donna has my s/n and maybe cell. if not paul or mike has that.

yeah def donna. ill stop by. i wudnt mind havin kenny use my car. the only thing im worried about is the MAF on the stock piping...its not on the air box like the 2.0. is there a way for kenny to make something like that and not throw codes. i can tell you, my custom intake with my stock piping is workin fine right now..but i def wud love kenny's once its made. i have to much POS plastic in my engine bay. let him know..if he wants me to come down before friday..tell him to call me

(I'll take off work for 2 days and work straight through til its done) If not Mike said I can use his shop and my neighbor offered me his garage... I should be pickin up the tranny tonight (mike thomas's blown diff one) and seeing whats usuable to fix mine, also I found axles and I should have a perf clutch and flywheel soon... now I just gotta get my car back from centerreach... (I still haven't heard back from the dealership yet though)

hey guys. i just wanted to let u guys know bout the 2.4/2.2 XTC intake

kenny should hopefully have it on my car on wed. or sometime during the week. when kenny and i were talkin bout it..most likely it will come short ram but also a adatper/pipin for a cold air intake..so u can do either or. we didnt get a chance to talk price..but im sure it will be much better and less expensive the those injen intakes that are like 300 bucks. ill let u guys know..or im sure kenny will.

honestly i dont see it happening soon. i told kenny i was interested about having a prototype on my car but he never responded to my email's. oh well now i have a injen CAI on my car. i tried guys.

The guys over at Cobalt - Addiction said that the intake for the 2.2 and 2.4 will be ready in 4 weeks and that was on 5/02/2007. I maybe asking a little early but I am just checking up.

Any status on availability and price? Still looking for "behind the grill front collector scoop" to ram air into stock air filter box of 2.4L NA SS.

Yeah, if CA/XTC made a 2.4 specific CAI I'd be all over it. My AEM 2.2 CAI nice, but I want an intake engineered for the 2.4 before I do tuning w/ HP Tuners. Plus, if its anything like their 2.0 CAI it'll have a hydroshield kinda thing included with it which is sweet. My dryflow filter SUCKS in rainy weather as dryflow filters tend to hold the water they absorb a lot worse than a conventional cone filter (K&N, Injen, etc). I was gonna get the new K&N typhoon for the 2.4, but I'm pretty sure the heatshield will interfere with my Ingalls ETD. I'm also considering the Rebel Autoworxs CAI.

Sweet man. Keep me posted. I'm in no rush to change out my intake. Got a few other plans for the SS that I want to take place first, then I wanna get a 2.4 specific intake.
