Good set-up. If I wasn't running the LNF block, I would have bought it back, just swapped the turbo.

he'll sell it to you for the right price. Or cheaper if you have a part he wants. And since when have you been on an lnf block?

Since he popped the last one...

Is your car in Texarkana now Robert? What design manifold/DP did you with this time?

Now... Internal vs. External WG... IDK what any of you are saying when you say that they sketchy above 24psi... There are diesel trucks out there that push 50+psi on an internal wastegate without problem. Internal is actually considered safer than external simply because its the only way to release pressure correctly. READ MAXIMUM BOOST by Corky Bell. Learn how to design a turbo kit and learn how all of this stuff works. An External wastegate has to be setup a precise way or it is doomed to fail.

If you want to build a kit for 2500-3000, it can be done fairly easily as USMCFIELDMP has stated. A good turbo can be sourced used or with the right research new for fairly cheap compared to the larger name resellers. If you are having a welder fab your intake and exhaust manifold, IC piping, and DP, you cut out all the large costs of your build. Dejon makes intercoolers but so does 1000 other places. Find what fits your car best. There are calculations you can do to determine the CID of the intercooler that you will need for your HP and then buy slightly larger for growing room. Dont plan on 15 for this 22 for that. Unless you are limited by fueling, run the max that you want because that will make it the most fun.

What I havent seen even mentioned as of yet is setting up your fuel system. You will need at minimum injectors and fuel pump rewire. I suggest return style for sure. It increases the cost but helps with fueling and tuning. Which brings to another aspect of your build, Dont total up all of your parts to $3k and go ok it was in budget because you have completely missed THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE BUILD and thats the TUNING. It can be costly so budget out that part as well.

I custom built my kit, it was EXPENSIVE. I went very much over the top, You dont seem to be headed in that route and if you need assistance with details, small parts you will need so that you dont get an absolute headache while trying to do install, other info, plz pm me.

PD

For the right price. I don't need it for one, and two... I'm on an LNF block. Much easier to use the LNF oil drain.

Yeah, it has been since June. I'm just now ordering all the parts though and starting into it. Build thread is on GMSC.

ZZP manifold this time around. It'll be a simple set-up this time around. Probably only make around 500whp on 30psi.

Gross. Get rid of those. Stock mount, Powell bar. You've got a great list of parts, minus those two.

Why you go with the Hallman Pro RX, instead of just the regular Pro? IIRC, the RX only allows like 5psi of adjustment.

Hallman is just a name i trust. If comes with two springs. On the smaller spring i got 12psi cranked all the way up. Added the heavy spring and turned it all the way down and it was sitting at 20. Currently at 24 with lots of room to grow. Believe the heavy spring can do 30psi. Either way i got this one cause i wanted the ability to add the inside extension to control boost from the inside.

Really depends on how aggressively you're tuned and how much power she's putting down.

Should be good for 11's @ 12x, without a doubt though.

I run a Hallman, as well. I was just wondering why you went with the RX instead of just the Pro. I forgot they came with the extra spring and ball so you can add higher amounts of boost, as well.

if i can pull 112 on 91octane and 14psi. you should be able to hit 120 traps easily. will you be running the slicks for sure?? idk how they'll like being cold. but with the car 11s are possible. 10s will depend on power with the manual.

Went to a dyno day today, temps were good so bumped the timing up a few degrees.

and i guess ill post the ? here as well.

i had a couple cels that all seem to have been fixed.
my only one left is p1183 supercharger inlet pressure circuit low voltage or something like that.
i was just wondering if that was because of the fact that the zzp kit doesnt use that sensor? does it just need to be turned off with HPT or what?
thanks guys. just trying to get the car ready for when it gets dyno tuned.
